In a way, this will be the
MySunCountry version of Tom Brokaw's "The Greatest Generation" books and TV
features. A Nominate Your Hero Form
is provided so that friends, family members, veterans organizations etc.
may nominate veterans of the military
services or others that played key roles in the support of America's war
efforts and military conflicts.
In
addition to Veteran of the Month these pages will include a Veterans
Registry which will be a searchable database of Central
Florida World War II veterans that will ,hopefully, encourage
communications and, perhaps, even some reunions. In order to build this
database we have included a Veterans
Registration Form. Please help us spread the world so
that we can build the database as soon as possible.
Also
featured will be Veterans News
and Veterans Links which
will include links to other Internet Web Sites of interest to
Central Florida Veterans and other interested persons.
